Well...here we go...some of you may have seen her about ?...dry days only Im afraid....The mini took me 2.5 years to restore...the mini was 1st registered Jan 1st 1961 so the shell build is a little earlier than the date as pointed out when I took her to MITP 2006....(anorak's don't you just love em)...the mini had pretty much emptied me wallet during this time...She has original floors...scuttles...A panels and sills...due to being hidden away for 27 years...so did not require much surgery...wots new?...well metal wise...new front end...new doors and rear valance and a few localised patches hear and there...the prep took 6 weeks by the body shop ( Neath Abbey body auto repairs ) b4 a full bare metal respray finised in ford radiant red with black roof and group 2 arches to match...all running gear had been blasted and powder coated and new parts when needed....adjusta rides...Gaz adjustables sorts the ride...with 1.5 neg camber all round....braided hoses with mini sport 4 pot alloy calipers with 7.5 grooved and vented disc's in order to stop on a 50 pence piece...cooling is taking care of with a 2 core rad from mini sport..to get rid of the gases we have a complete maniflow system....just took out the 2nd silencer and replaced with a straight through link pipe...as it was prior a little hush hush...all new wiring loom...modified to run neg earth....all new interior with newton com carpets and headlining....all new bright work....god fingers hurt now....I guess you know the list could go on and on......and here is the bonus...she was featured in Mini Mag anniversary edition ( august 2006 ).......I have recently replaced the rebuilt 998 for a MG Metro unit which I dropped in last week ! Feb 17th.....not running to good at the mow though...needs a bit of tweakin... Looking forward to the 2007 season ;D

The paint was done by " Neath Abbey body auto repairs"...in Neath Abbey !.....4 coats primer and 4 coats of 2 pack ford radiant red.....the shine/wax is taken care of by Neal's magic polish....friggin wicked stuff...bought it off an old guy in a white overall demonstrating his stuff at the bulie ( can't spell ) autojumble last year.....effortless to put on and no scrubbing to take off.....wax it in the sun too....it will also do ya windows and chrome......I was an avid user of autoglym products for a while.....but this stuff add's a touch more...well impressed :-).....then spent SOME time with the buffer for extra bling !

I've got the number on the bottle.....he's totally old school...he's got his HOME number on the bottle...just give him a call 01784 433031 ....500ml bottle about £12 quid odd...all you need is to send him a cheque with your address...it's cool as i've ordered more since......it'll also do smooth plastic's and window rubbers.....no sweating either when rubbing it off.....don't need to slap loads on !
He told me the last time I spoke to him his new stuff is even better !...good luck

that polish is good until you come to spray the car again. You have to go right back to bare metal because it reacts with the new paint going on !
