jc say its not tidy you could eat your dinner of he,s just got to tidy his wires up a little after putting the engine back in. i wish my engine bay looked half as tidy as his. infact he has some pic of mine he could post them up as a bad engine bay. Your still not working round mine tonight!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D jc

ill stick up pics of my engine bay later.... baby jesus would weep.... lol
on the plus side ive got the shinyer version of the sound proofing so i guess its water treated to a degree.... i also considered giving it a coat of PVA glue to stop water from seeping in.... but that my be over the top lol....
but yeah JC stick some pics up ;D

Phwaaaaarrrr yeah after seeing that i think i will put my soud proofing in. im toying with the idea of a green engine... just to keep it looking retro.... but im not sure if black will look better?
what does everyone think?
also i was considering rubbing back the top of the radiator aswell.... but not sure how long itll last before it tarnishes.... =/

Like all brasswork coedy you would need to polish it regularly to keep the shine, Brasso works well every so often I personally think that the dark green would look better than black but its what you think looks good that counts. jc

i did think of just leaving it be and before a show give it a stern talking to with some autosol ;D
opinions on if i should make the engine bay have a retro feel by adding a green block? or paint it black? or silver?

Me either, wouldn't like to try it though But when I have cleaned brass with brown sauce it always made me fancy a bacon buttie ;D

hmmm where would one purchase such paint before friday if one were inclined to do so...? and brown sauce on a radiator? imagine the smell if you dont wipe it all off

im now scouring ebay lol.... Ive come cross the most oldschool idea ever if i can find both..... aluminium clutch cover, alternator and brackets. some black brakets. grey block and green head.... *dribbles* thats so oldschool it hurts...
