What a mad weekend, I'll have to upload my photo's when I get a chance. But it was hysterically funny when we pulled over to wait for some friends to catch up and then Irishstick came roaring past shouting out the window. Thanks for ringing to see if we were okay too mate. We didn't get home until gone 11:30pm though, so we're still very tired. I wished we'd stopped overnight on the day too, because it's one hell of a distance from Brighton and the traffic jams were crazy. We did some 487 miles in total and I spent £63.00 on petrol, although there's still half a tank left in there. Glad we did it, but with a baby on the way and the cost of fuel now means it'll be a long time before we do it again. Oh well we conquered it and have the badges and stuff to prove it.

Oh and we passed that yellow AA Mini Van on the M4 at Bristol. It was conked out and an AA relay van was just about to tow it.
Unfortunately there was a few stricken Minis on the hard shoulder on the way home.
Thank god ours ran faultlessly.

Well I kind of look at it like Everest and once you've conquered it there's no point in going again.
But we did enjoy ourselves even though driving through London was hell. We just followed our friends, but they had enough problems finding Crystal Palace. London isn't much fun driving through though, especially at 6am.
Mad weekend, really crazy.

It's a hell of a long way though Phil and we could have done with stopping over on the Sunday too.
Oh well we're home now, if a little worn out.
