Here's a pic borrowed from Ebay of an early metal Brake / Clutch master cylinder cap. This particular item is brand new and as the heading stated is SOOOOO rare. Guess how much it sold for. ? The bit sticking out the bottom is actually a little dipstick. How cool is that.

Can I guess again any extra points for the postage costs too ;D ;D Carry on. Even the postage was, ummm, a bit cheeky.

Postage is a bit out, but yes, SIXTY THREE notes for the cap. I've seen tatty 2nd hand ones go for about £40. So £63 is a bargain. ;D

You ought to see the prices early seat belts are fetching. Kangol and Britax alike. I used to trawl the Auto jumbles looking for any half decent seat belt / s. All of a sudden they dried up. Don't see them anymore, except on Ebay fetching Twp money.

If they were the very early SQUARE cut holes I'd expect them to sell for £250 plus. So i reckon this set sold for around £200.

eBay the only place where things that you think are going to make a few quid go OTT and other things bomb.
I actually sold an empty apple pie foil on a wooden mount for £7 and described it as art I think I called it 'I was hungry, now I'm full', true story.
