Whats it worth?

Ive got a 998 Stage 3 unleaded cylinder head (From MiniSport) in the garage.
it was on my car for a while before it was sent for a refurb (cant remember why, or what was chaged but my rents may remember and ill post up in here once theyve told me

I had it back and within a few months of putting it back on i popped a piston ring so i got a new engine and salvaged my head off the old one.

Im not sure if its worth me putting the head back on or not, or even if i can see myself hanging onto it. so to weigh up the pro's and con's....im asking...

what do people think its worth?

like i say its not covered many miles since it got refurbed because the rest of the engine gave way before i really had chance to play with it properly so its just been sitting in the garage since.

Any Guesses?

Right, the head went in because the valve guides had started to wear.
so all new valve guides (cant remember if their brass or steel?) and one new set of valves (cant remember if they were the exhaust set or the inlet set)
thats what ive been told by my dad. if i get chance this week ill see if i can find the recipt.

is it a standard head which has been modded or a cooper ( will have 12G295 on it) ?

if its a cooper it will be worth alot more as their getting harder to find

Im guessing its a standard one thats been modded? it actually came from MiniSport on the link in the first post.

At a rough guess, and seeing what's been sold on Ebay it should be worth at least £140 ish minimum.
The modified 998 heads seem to sell reasonably well and your head is unleaded already which is a bonus.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but ive had a quick go at Decoking the head today (as we couldnt find the recipt).

I think the bigger valves are the new set (seeing as their less discoloured)

and now ive got pics!!!







Also i think it has double valve springs (cant remember if ive said before).

Any more ideas as to what its worth?
