a fella on a mini group i used to visit, told of fitting a resistor somewhere on the ecu to make the management think the car was cold all the time, Thus giving more fuel ( as in choke ) s'posed to increase performance but obviously reduce economy I didnt ever see or hear of anyone trying this, but it was mentioned a few times..

to increase proformace of a injection requires engine work As in a new head will give more power, maybe even a decent exhaust system... but your tlak of a few bhp, nothing amaizing.... you'll never get anything amazing from a Mini Engine... (without spending hundreds....)

im sure one of the mini supliers used to do a '90bhp kit' for injetion minis. Consisted of a different air filter element, exhaust, and a piggy back ECU.
although no one ever got 90bhp from it... they were lucky to get 10 extra if i remember correctly. cant find the info now but i heard about it ages ago on minifinity?

Yeah, minisport do kits for injection minis but i think it involves cyclinder head change so would probably be quite expensive...
Anyone know anything about superchips?

even though it doesn't give you 90bhp!!!!
How many cooper "Works" kits actully give 90bhp?
With a standard injection cam, the most you can expect will be about 70...!
