Exhaust Dilema!!

Hi guys....

I have a small dilema... As many of you know I am doing a surprise pit-stop on the other halfs mini this weekend! Alloys, seats etc etc. (See "Pimping Herb" in General)

Now I really want to do the exhaust to. I have been offered a twin DTM jobber. In time I want to put the full stage 1 kit onto the car. But alas I cannot afford to do it now.

So the question is... if I get the twin DTM exhaust, link pipe and adaptor to fit a standard manifold, will I lose loads of power? And will the carb need re-setting.

Its a standard 998cc engine with no mods...yet!

Any help would be great.

i did the same thing couple of years ago,
But I had to change the needle in the carb,
simple job,

cant remember what needle i used tho'
