hello all!
I am Working with The organisers of the Enfield Pageant of Motoring (an annual classic car show in North London)
As you know It is the Mini's 50th Yr in 2009 and we are planning on making the 2009 pageant a big Mini Celebration!!!
It is held in May usually a couple of weeks after the London 2 Brighton Mini run.
This is just an idea at the moment and wanted to see your responce but was wondering if you guys would be interested on making a mini run to the 2009 Pageant as part of the mini celebrations, it is for the weekend so there will be camping and i am working on entertainment ideas!
You can have your banners up and if you do think this is a good idea i think you will be making the furthest trip out of all the other clubs attending.

Well at the moment i am putting together a list of ideas for evening entertainment for campers and mini ppl when the pageant is closed for the day as its one thing coming dwn and going round the cars and stands in the day or even goin down into Enfield Town but there is not very much to do in the evening!!
If you have any ideas post them here!

the last 1 its [glow=lime,2,300]FREE[/glow] to register your car into the event!! but as it is a charity event a donation of any size would be welcomed  !!!! It will cost about £8 - £9 for the general public to get in. i will have forms for you to register your car at a later date, i'll let you know when i get them!!!! Also every one that takes part (bringing their mini) will get a free Enfield Pageant Model (last yr was a Mini van, this yr they will be a Mini again but unique colours for the pageant) Im working on other goodies for Mini People that come down! |

Well as long as some of you can make it it will be a fun weekend! im working on the sponsers for the entertainment so hopefully get you guys alot of activities to do in the evenings!

LOL well i am working on a bar for when the pageant is closed in the evening for the campers!!!  and i think it'd be a bit hard to get free alchy n dont think the council would like that n say we are "promoting drink driving" I think the main pageant organisers (ive just bin put in to do the mini side of things) are sorting live music for the sunday!!!  ALSO what are your thoughts on mechanical bull Bungee jump inflatable assault courses  |

well karaoke may be bit difficult as for sound pollution and coz its close to a residential area!

harlow mini club (which im a membe of) quite a few of them will be attending, ive contacted the moke club (there is only 1 club in europe ) but ive got a yr n im w8in to get the forms through b4 contacting as many clubs as i can! the aim is minimum of 500 mini's & mokes |
