yeah its the overflow, just replace it with a length of normal fuel hose ( make sure its rated for unleaded if u use unleaded petrol)

Cheers I've got some somewhere.
So will it be easy to remove and I'm not likely to get fuel spouting out everywhere then?

The spare hose I've got was bought for the fuel tank end where it passes through the boot floor.
Will that do?
