But those pedals look different to mine JC? Thats a cover on the brake pedal too Taffy and there is a rubber pad under the Paddy H Pedal to give a better grip. Could be the throttle pedal was changed by Coopers to fit the Paddy H pedal during the conversion jc

this had better be a straight forward procedure of just drilling two holes and then clamping the pedal on....

Why don't you change the whole pedal for an earlier one.

yeah i thought that aswell but didnt want to say anything in case i was being an idiot lol. good idea dai but think id rather drill two holes than mess about with things ive no idea about. plus im quite in patient so i should be abe to mount it tomorrow if i can use the drill idea left the snapped off bolt in the radiator tonight but ive doused all of the remaining nuts to remove in plenty of WD40 to seap into it overnight. so hopefully tomorrow ill be cooking on gas

too wet to mess about with extension leads and electric drills today.
tried to remove the other bolts on the fan cowling. snapped another one. so ive given up on those other stupid ones, ive taken off the top bracket though and the bottom hose.
