today was the first proper run the car has had under my ownership. towards the end of the day it felt as if the clutch pedal took more effort to operate than before. Also as i exelerated i felt and saw that there was movement in the peddle and the gear stick as if the gearbox was loose. am i imagining ths Also has anyone got a dash i could draw around onto a piece of board as i woud like to attempt to make my own

Have you checked the clutch fluid? If the level is dropping then suspect the clutch slave cylinder seals to be the problem here.

took the car out today and the clutch seemed fine. It was playing up after Mumbles yesterday. so will i still need the slave seals or would it be easier to buy the complete salve cylinder.

Just the seals if the fluid level is dropping. i.e. because the slave is actually leaking fluid.
