anybody using one of these devices, the sat navs good and updated regulary, but it dosent do the coppers hiding behind a tree thing with a mobile detector, and the odd fixed camera once in a while,, i know there not cheap, but when your doing stupid milage,, one fine and insurance premiums, will pay for it anyway,,, i try not to speed but we all creep over the limit once in a while,

I've got the Road Angel Plus Irish, it can run up to 4 hrs on its own battery or plugs into a car socket, alerts for all Gatso's, also has an ultrasonic sensor front & back for the plods hand held jobbies, It will also warn of temp roadworks cam's and averaging cam's. and known accident blackspots ( known Camera van locations!) I don't use it every day, just for long journeys really and have found it to be very good. Updates cost £4.99 / month but are unlimited so if you are traveling every week you could update every week for the £4.99 / month

Got my grubby paws on a 2nd hand Road Angel plus off Fleabay. No destructions with it, but it had all the rest of the gear with it. I've set it up in the Tranny for now and beleive it or not the Tranny speedo is out by about 3 1/2 to 4 mph at 60 mph. So when it's showing 60 on the speedo the Angel is reading 56 to 57 ish. I wondered why everyone on the M4 was blasting past me all the time, i was only doing 66 Mph.

when i was looking into buying sat nav etc there was loads of reports about speedo's over reading. turns out car manufactures only have to get the accuracy with in 10%

Set the Road Angel up in the Beige One for my trip ooop north and my speedo was reading 4-5 mph too fast at most speeds. Strange thing about it was, i heard a loud click and later on noticed my speedo was reading zero. Looks like the speedo cable broke, probably in protest. Spooky or what.
