It will not start i do have points and the other bit in there to go. I dont know how to do that and i dont know if they are the problem. Any kind gent or lady who would like to come to Pontardawe and have a look and maybe put those bits on PLEEEEEEEEEEASE. I have been off the road for two weeks here. i am having withdrawal symptoms ive started to shake and ive taken to sitting in the mini praying for something to happen. Mixture sounds to be too weak. Make sure you've got a piston spring in the dashpot, just in case. You never know.

Phil has been up and all the things listed above are in order. He thinks it is the fuel pump, as the car has to be turned over a fair view times before it ticks over but then only for a few seconds. It is as if the car is running on the small bit of fuel sat in the carb and then nothing else is coming through and it cuts out. Spoke to a mate of mine he thinks it could be the needle. this is getting harder. Phil if you tried to leave me a txt message earlier i lost it. I am not back tuesday or wednesday until late so this will have to go on hold yet again, my wife will be in though. By the way you have been brilliant so cheers

Try some of these hope it helps Mallet

it looks like a 33 to 35 mm nut. I have a 32 spanner and that doesnt fit so i measured it with a tape but hanging through the window is not recommended for accuracy.
