we have just come in from the garage....subby is fine as are both rear quaters, just the boot floor and valance but its not too bad, byron was really great in the deli, we chocked the mini up and used the 4x4 to pull the damaged area out.... shes fully drivable wil fix the rest of the damage when the weather is a bit warmer

Glad it's looking better. Although I might be wrong, but isn't your back box on upside down?

Oh right, I just wondered as many years ago I bought a Maniflow twin box exhaust system (the first one) for my Mini. It just went on from the cat remover pipe back (that's now long gone too as I have a full system and LCB). Anyway I unwisely took it to ATS in Bridgend and asked them to fit that twin box exhaust, which they did, even though they claimed that the Maniflow exhaust fitting kit wasn't suitable. So my exhaust looked much the same as yours and exited on the side. But then Biker and a few others at the old South Wales Mini Club discovered that it had been put on upside down. In other words the sloping bits that run from the box to the pipe (crash plates or whatever their called) were above instead of below. So I took it back and made them fit it the right way around and then the Manflow fitting kit also miraculously fitted too. Well that's how it went with mine anyway.

when we tried it the other way it was pointing up in the air + water collecting in it when rained + was'nt fitting right etc as not the right fixing kit on it. like it that way + past m.o.t so can stay like that lol. maybe wrong way perhaps but does the job

after travelling down to porthcawl this morning we stopped at traffic lights at roundabout by b + q etc when a guy in blue ford focus rear ended our car AGAIN + looks like ju got whip lash through it now smashed all the work we done to to her last week when ju had a dissagreement with concrete post. needs new bumper, boot, reverseing light, possible valance + re-creased boot floor. the guy owns a bodyshop apparently + gonna do the work himself so needs to go on jig etc now. as we were talking to the guy roger bridgend turned up to see if we ok etc ( thankyou roger ) guy said needs to order the parts in + said we would get it sorted after chrimbo. starting to think someone trying to tell us something as this is the 3rd bump in 6 wks that has happened 1....someone pushed side of car in when parked up dowlais 2....ju decided to have argument with concrete post 8 days ago 3....hit by ford focus thinking of getting a skateboard instead as less hassle

Oh god not again, bad news on the whip lash too.
Did it happen near the trading estate in Bridgend? Cars come from everywhere there and you take you life in your hands on those roundabouts.
Glad it's getting fixed again though.
