It could be a bulb fault (strange for them all to go on that side though), a bad earth or a wiring fault?
I believe the wiring for the passenger N/S indicators are Green/White?
Or the indicator flasher unit is doing strange things and only working on one side?

Check the bulbs are connecting properly in their sockets.

Depending on what Mini model you own, if it's an injection Mini then check the in-line fuses behind the air filter as I believe one of them also controls the indicators? Oh and here's someone on The Mini Forum who had a similar problem: - www.theminiforum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=102627&hl=indicators&st=15So it took a new fuse box and the sorting out of a bad earth and a short to get it all working again.

well i actually asked on here before i went up to try and sort it as i havnt used the mini properly for almost a month (oops). went up with all your suggestions on board, and what do you know, the sodding things work now. they started playing up ever since the MOT. indicators worked. put hazards on and the one side was wacky again, gave the hazard switch a propper press and its fine again. im guessing when they went to turn the hazards off after checking them for the MOT they didnt fully press the switch! ah well. easy fix! and ive got to say, she was faultless.... i love my car even if the indicators do take it in shifts to mess me about...

if it goes again though ad the hazard switch beating doesnt work it looks like its going to be a right pain to fix properly Hopefully itll be fine though, the fusebox has already been replaced for a larger blade fuse type so thats one less thing to go wrong... but like you said, for the moment their working

could be down to the switch? seems the hazard switch and the headlight switches both spew out some wierd problems when the contacts get funny?

Yes if the hazard switch gives you grief again, just replace it.

its never played up before, ill probably pop it out tomorrow if its dry and work it back and fore a bit and check the connections going into it because my switch panel sticks out a fair amount on the drivers side and just keeps popping out. also my heater cable wont go all the way back in (any ideas how to fix this?)

ah awsome. it may aswell wait until im ready to chuck a dash in then in that case... i was going to whip off the heater the same time and check the matrix anyway so should be able to sort that then. has anyone here had the minitrailers lighted dash panel kit? www.minitrailers.com/switchillumination.htmseems straight forward eough, and also a good idea so your not always fumbling about in the dark! But for £30 odd quid.... sounds a bit mental.... im considering adding an LED bar above them with a huge resistor on to keep it quite dimly lit instead... should certainly be cheaper than £30!!!!

ah looks pretty cool. although i dont think my headlight switch has a clear window on it, think ill do my ghetto method and see how it goes, if it goes alright ill make a guide for here as im sure its not just me that hates having the fumble about.
surely its just a case of getting a LED light bar, and wiring it in to the sidelight feeds on the rear of the switch usig those splice in terminals? im sure i saw a guide somewhere (maybe minifinity) on how to make a headlight waring buzzer aswell.... ;D

im sure i saw a guide somewhere (maybe minifinity) on how to make a headlight waring buzzer aswell.... ;D dead simple get one of these www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=3213or similar and connect the positive the sidelight positive and splice the negative in to the interior light switch wire in the door frame. then every time the lights are on and the door is open the buzzer gets earthed and sounds

Awsome ;D Ill do that then the same time i chuck the dash in and mess with lighting the switch plate. are those horendously loud? if so i could just add resistors or a pot to it to take the edge off it?
