spraying door cards

The saturday meeting gave me inspiration, so i removed my door cards which are gray and sprayed them black. I know i am a cheap skate but, touch wood it seems to have worked. This is the prelude to me spraying my dash board.

I am thinking, rather than refitting cheap carpet, i am going to spray the carpet black as seen on wheeler dealers. ok that was a parcel shelf but the principle still applies.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D i now need to find some black leather seats so i am watching ebay like a hawk. I must ensure i dont bid whilst drunk you all know what i mean ;D ;D ;D

yeah id like to see pics aswell! especially if the paint holds up on the doorcards!
i want my doorcards to go black, i was woried about the paint flaking off though.
what kind of paint did you use?

I sprayed my top and bottom dash rails myself... i think they look damn impressive personally, especially if you consider the fact that they were sprayed while they were IN the car ;D

son done his door cards on his project clio with plastic primer + then the paint on top

No cracking and stuff? then again guess its fine if its not put on too thick?
