Which insurance companies have been good for you? my renewals in a month or so and im starting to think about phoning around. im with Footman and James and they've been unbeaten the past two years. im going to have to phone adrian flux though, because its hilarious... 5grand plus usually... lol 10x more than F&J Its only a stage 1 998!!!! (im 22 now so it may be worth me trying Performance Direct and HIC, the past few years they said i was too young )

Insurance is minefield, but of all the ones I checked LV are the cheapest.
I wouldnt recommend using a comparison site.

Right, time to revive this old thread!!! lol. Had my renewal Notice through today. £460ish, around £50 cheaper than last year... Although i have noticed they have changed their Agreed Value system now, which means a 'Club Official' can give the agreed value. this may lead to me just renewing without phoning round too many places (LV, P.D. JAMES, and maybe HIC and performance Direct) Because i currently get personal injury, legal costs, road rage cover, euro cover and UK Recovery included... and the agreed value. which i think is very good... it will empty my bank account excluding about £20 lol. but it sounds very good lol. Open to more suggestions by the way. Also going to phone them and check what Mods are on the policy as i don't know if im still paying for Bucket seats, harnesses and a tone and a half of sound system on the back seats. (which ive no longer got fitted)

I'm paying £200 for my mini, fully comp under my father's name. We are with Churchill. No agreed value but once it looks like its worth a tidy sum of money ill have a value put on it incase something happens.

I doubt Churchill will provide an agreed value scheme, you'd be better using one of the Mini specialist insurers you see advertised in the Mini Magz.
