Totally above board. Im not trying to do a 'Ross' lol.
Ive got a two clock instrument panel. Ive looked about and Three clock dashes are more readily available than two clock ones. We have got a three clock panel in the spare room that i was going to fit, but i was put off because then my mileage would be wrong. (it is 20k over my existing mileage  )
is it possible to wind it back to my current mileage? i don't intend selling the car or anything dodgy, i just want it correct so my OCD doesn't spin out and i wont have to do any crazy maths.
my dad said a drill may work on an old speedo cable (there's a broken one on there at the moment) but i don't want to damage it. also my dad doesn't know if its safe to wind back, or if it would be easier for me to 'clock it' back up to my real mileage?
If people think its too dodgy to talk about on a public forum could someone please pm me? (i wouldn't want to buy a clocked mini without knowing so maybe we shouldn't give instructions for possible dodgy dealers to find).
Hope someone can help me out! ;D
