Not all were architectural disasters though. No, this well designed and built 1960's high-rise called 'Trellick Tower' was designed by a great architect called Erno Goldfinger (his name was used in an early James Bond film, i.e. Goldfinger).

But then who knows what they'd do next?

So live on the 31st floor, but invest in a parachute just incase.

Seriously though my niece recently lived in those Alto Lusso apartments in Cardiff (behind where Toys R' Us used to be) and it was fantastic. She lived on the 11th floor, but it cost a small fortune to live there.
