i enjoy electrics and all i need to do is wire up the:
reverse light switch side lights brake lights reverse lights fog lights indicaters
should take me about 3 days lol

i love wiring. just had to extend all my loom to bring the fuses inside on dash and having to alter wiring for mk1 back lights etc. wish i had a standard mini though... seems to be to many relays on my loom lol. there meant to be there but spoil it all i love scamps n mokes there ace, i seen a red 1 with silver 13" revos on and it looked lush.

i was going to just buy a loom but then i would have to modify it anyway so i`ll just make one

update: On monday i repaired the front of the wiring loom for the lights and extended the side light/indicater loom into the engine bay On tuesday all my wires arrived at a cost of £120 >_< TODAY me and my dad done 90% of the wiring for the back lights and we will finish it off tomorow now

just been thinking of what colour to paint my engine and i think i want to paint it black and then paint the clutch housing and gearbox white what do you think all opinions welcomed

if your keeping the moke white and black then yes i would defo matey. good colour to spot oil leaks too

right i think this thread is well overdue a update.
at malvern i baught a new handbrake cable, poly bumpstops and some other nuts and bolts.
on saturday i fitted my new handbrake cable and my gear selector and thats about it so far
