Where abouts is that rolling road? I'm gonna need one after installing the stage 1. Or can someone recommend anyone in Swansea area?

Does it really make that much difference then? I thought you had it pretty dialled in from fiddling when you first put it in? Is it really night and day from the previous map in terms of 'get up and go'?
*wants to fix his leak to get it to some rollers..*

Yeah, I have got a rev limiter on it set to 5600rpm, My torque curve drops off after that on my RR print out from the RR day so figured there's not much point letting it go on past that. Cheers dude! ;D It wont be for a while until I flash the new one anyway because the MOT is the most pressing issue at the moment, and have a bit of logistics problems with my laptop...(laptop battery sucks so will need an extension cord)

Also I got a high output (70amp) alternator on order because my current one is starting to struggle with every thing turned on. Nothing wrong with the clothes peg choke lj ! I used one of them for ages on my 1st Mini!!! ;D Have had an alternator from a Metro Turbo fitted on my Mini for a long time for exactly the same reason ! ;D

I read somewhere that the race springs "fall out" when the front wheels "leave the road surface". The race type springs are specifically for smooth surfaces, ie; race tracks. Might have seen the article in one of the Mini porn mags.

16V, good decision, a mini deserves to have a 160 + bhp under the bonnet. what engine you thinking of going with?
