Looking to order a load of bits for Jamie's car, Who do you recomend, preferably online ordering so I can do it tonight, Anyone who suggests minisport gets a wet sponge in the face at the next meet ;D

i only really use somerford or minispares both have been brilliant so far. depends on what you after really, if you want panels or hard to get bits go somerford, for pretty much every thing else minispares are good.
saying that i found earlier that minispares are now selling some genuine panels cheaper than somerford.
as you've said minisport is a big no no!

Only place we've actually dealed with is Somerford, Dad seems happy - although he did most of it over the phone.

I have been looking all night, huddersfield do best deal on exhaust but dont have all the little things like gaskets and manifold nuts online, mini spares have them all online but seem to be more expensive think it might be easier to phone them all in the morning with the list and get prices

Mini Spares and Somerford Minis are both first class.
Mini Sport and Mini Speed are best avoided unless you actually buy the stuff directly from their premises or at a Mini show.
Mini Machine (or M Machine since BMW sent the threats) are also excellent for early NLA panels and stuff.

definatley not impressed with the company that sold me the rocker cover in malvern...the chrome stuff they use to cover the rocker cover with has FLAKED OFF!!! what the hell were they using on that? and right not i cant remember the name of the company, the bag is in KP'S boot and at the mo were in dans house.... ill get back to u on that. mayb dean will remember, its the same company i had the over riders from

there we go, the company was midlands wheel supplies i couldnt believe it! phoned up yesterday and the guy didnt seem bothered at all, just told me "yeah send it back. bye" must have had a problem with more than just the one, otherwise he might have put up some sort of fight, rather than just giving my money back. how much is it guna cost me to send it back too? more than i should have to pay for, its not my fault that it was really badly made

oops, just read that last comment by taffy . have ordered 6x12 minilights from mws so hope they will be ok !!! not had much experience ordering mini bits and bobs but have dealt with karen at somerford for stage 1 kit plus dtm and she has been mega helpful and has always returned my calls etc

I was told about issue's with thier wheels too, But Corina had a set on one of her old cars, still see the car often and the wheels are still looking as new and they must be 5 years old by now
