Looks like someone couldn't help but try to update it at some point in it's life with MKII rear lights?

It's a MK2 mini with a 63 plate. The rear screen is wider than a MK1 and the dash is all MK2 as well.

Well there's no flies on you Dai! ;D I just spotted the MKII on bonnet too. Plus the front panel is the later cut off/profiled edging style to allow better cooling to the front brakes? So someone is telling porkies. Nothing new for e-Bay though?

The other modification / update was the fitting of Hydrolastic suspension. Wet suspension wasn't introduced until 1964.

oi! they were miners rolls royces back in the day! porthcawl were full of tinas!!! lol,,, common yes!! of course they were!,, ;D Oh 'Costa Del Trecco Bay', yes I know it very well indeed and back then my Gran and Grandads lovely 1964 luxury 6 berth caravan didn't have electricity, nor internal plumbing. In fact I went searching the net on a caravan site looking to see if I could find a caravan like my grandparents (i.e. a 1964 Lynton Majorca) and I found this which is pretty damn close: - The blurb said it's a 1963 'Lynton Vega 14' and it's very similar (the front end is identical), although ours was slightly longer and had several more windows along the side plus a wide blue stripe. I'm sure we've got photo's of our old caravan somewhere, but I'm too lazy too look right now. Oh and that caravan was on-site at Trecco Bay in the same place for 20 years, where as today you're lucky if your caravan is allowed to stay on-site for a decade! Anyway I've probably bored you all to tears, whilst I've had a reminiscent tear in my eyes thinking back to happy holidays from years gone past, but I'm sure you'll find this more interesting as I also came across this amazing picture whilst browsing that caravan site, sorry I meant caravan website lol: - Oh and the blurb for this one said 'Mini And Blue Bird Bantom 1962'

But I don't know if I'd be too happy trailering a caravan like that behind my Mini whilst crossing the Severn Bridge on a windy day!
