hi mate just looked on your project thread. ive got a funny feeling your front subframe is flexing alot due to not having the correct strengthening bars now you dont have a fixed front end. and having a solid mounted exhaust is fine if your engine isnt moving but the engine will be moving alot with the subframe. jay.

gotta argee about the lack of brace bars, also their an MOT requirement.

yes i know I did have to take the engine out because the maifold snapped bcos the engine is rubber mounted and the eghaust is solid Got and made rubber mounted brackets for it As for the front end will be strengthened soon this weekend hopefully Thanks

Did the front end now looks better and is stronger now i hope Also made a start to the inner rollcage, Still yet to decide on what colour to have it any suggestions?

Sod fitting a front end, chrome them up and leave it like that ;D

Yes it does fit if you notice it has small cut outs near the bottom for the shape of the front bumper. How much is chroming then?

leave some metal around the crossmember and shock mounting. It's a high stress area so don't take too much more off.

you could go back another inch which would get rid of the piece hanging down by the shocker and have a neat edge meanwhlie there should be about an inch then before you get to the crossmember.
