Yep, no problem.. That's plenty strong enough. That's very similar to what i'm using. I'll post a pic up later. M-Machine supply bracketry that you fit on the rear bulkhead and through the speedo hole in the front bulkhead which makes the job far easier and spreads the load evenly.

here you go . Half a sleeve coupler. The speedo hole bracketry. (mainly ply). From inside the cabin. The only problem i found was having to lift the body up high enough to slide the scaffold tube into the sleeve coupler. I was going to chop the main leg, find a smaller section square box section, weld the sleeve back on and have an adjustable (heightwise) main leg(s). Never got round to doing it though.

how have you fixed it at the rear seat/shelf? and does the mini rotate freely around the pole?
i'm planning on making the mini/pole fixed and it rotate through the posts.

The rear seat bracket is on the same line as the front bulkhead one. The scaffold tube is clamped to the scaffold clip and the shell turns on the tube. It will turn fairly easily and i usually prop the shell to the desired angle.

to be able to weld in new floors/sills etc without lying on a cold floor and getting weld splatter where it shouldn't be...

No hole in the backrest. You will probably have to fabricate some bracketry to fix on top of the parcel shelf. The only problem then is that the shell will spin off centre along it's length. It's no big deal though, the shell should still spin easily enough.
