I just come across this pic now, I dont think my mom would be too happy to let me have any part of my mini's engine in the house let alone the whole thing! Anyone else get away with something like this? ;D

My Dad once had the engine out of his car (Don't know what waaaaaay before my time) in the kitchen on the side of the dishwasher because it was snowing outside ;D Story goes that my Mum almost killed him. But the cat got him back for her. It had left a 'parcel' just outside the back door and for some reason my Dad decided to take the engine back out of the Kitchen with nothing on his feet. You can guess what happened lol ;D

I like the stories like the guy who restored a bike in his bedroom and couldn't work out when it was finished how to get it down the stairs and back out of the house. Haha

He couldn't get the engine mounts to line up? My nan lets me get away with lots...I sprayed my dashboard in her conservatory (with all the near by windows and doors open), drilled my airbox and cut into my dials on her worktop, and built my bro's sub box in the conservatory (including all the cutting, drilling and gluing...) Cant get away with anything In my house lol
