You'll probably have to sell your soul to the Devil to get a ticket now mate. Mind you it's a long drive down there and the traffic jams in Brighton made me think of Turin in 'The Italian Job'. So if you do get lucky, then I'd recommend staying overnight both nights and driving home the day after. (There's a Travelodge just on the way out of Brighton). Or you could still do the run, but not park on Madeira Drive?

Irish is right, it's a bloody early start and there's only 2 portaloo's and a very long queue at Crystal Palace. Not fun if you're busting or have kiddies in tow (like we did).
Plus considering it's early (we were driving through London at 5am) and a Sunday, we expected the roads to be a bit quiet.
No, it was like rush hour in Cardiff City Centre on a Friday afternoon. I mean just where the hell were all those people going so early on a Sunday morning?
It's a great run and a great day, but it's also a hell of a long journey home and very tiring when you've been up since around 4.30am and then don't get home until close on midnight.
But at least we can say we did it and that's what counts.
;D

Well I've been told that Irish is actually older than 19, so he's been fibbing and my source also tells me that he once appeared on 'Top Of The Pops' back in 1970 during his Hippy era. ;D Just kidding, but it's a good song though from a great group all the same.

Well I was too young to appreciate much back in 1970 (apart from 'Mr Benn' and 'Mary Mungo & Midge' oh and 'Doctor Who' of course). But I now have 'Witches Promise' and 'Living In The Past' by Jethro Tull on my i-Pod.
