oh Irish !!! I hate stories like that !! its so sad to think that that happened !! gutted. by the time i got back home and checked i wasent going insane,  it was too late to drive back down there! lol,,, oh well the club runs next!  |

oh Irish !!! Don't worry, I've been there myself Irish and the year me and Marie got married (yes long time ago now, okay the Summer of 1991), we were obviously in a very confused state much of the time because one weekend we drove all the way to the 'Dan-Yr-Ogof' Showcaves because we thought a Mini show was taking place in the grounds outside that day (run by the old Swansea based 'South Wales Mini Club' crowd). When in fact we should have been heading for Stanford Hall as it was actually the National Mini Owners Club Day instead. So we were quite surprised when there were no Minis at the showcaves and so we drove all the way home to check and discovered we'd made a mistake. Our mates from the old 'Gwent Mini Club' weren't too happy either as they'd been waiting for us and missed us being there at Stanford Hall with them. But it was much too late to go by then.  Thank God we have forums like this now. |

confession time! i got down to cardiff bay in the transit at 9.30, not a mini in sight  so after the most expensive pannini and coffee ive ever bought, thought sod this, ive got the wrong day (again) wont be the 1st time!  and drove back home! gutted i missed it! Love it ;D Dont worry though mate, there is alsways bristol mini day, we are meeting on wednesday 5am at magor |
