Right, time has come to have my wheels refurbed, some plank has been going round kerbing them for me The laquer has failed in places leaving water in which has corroded and made a mess of them. Now I know theres a place in Swansea that i've been to before, and their flyers say from £25 a wheel. Does anyone have anywhere to reccomend? Maybe cheaper? ;D

I used to use Renowheel in Bridgend, they were very good for all sorts of work, wheels, bike parts, etc, etc. www.renowheel.co.uk/index.htmlThink they are still there although have'nt used them for about 8 months.

Yeah that one by the jap garage is the one I was on about, I'll probably end up going back there tbh. Closer than bridgend too, although that other place did mention they would do split rims? Does that mean real split rims? As in taking them apart and refurbing? Or like my fake split rims, because I am slightly worried the little nuts may cause complications...

Renowheels used to be run by a guy called Tony (cant remember his surname) but he has recently sold out to another company.

So I'll steer clear of them then. Dragon tyres are the people who reccomended the one in gorseinon, and when i went there last the guy was cool, and the wheels he had on display were pretty good.
