My arches overlap my wheels a tad and i want it slighly the other way so the wheels are just in line/smidge of wheel protruding.
I was going to order wheel spacers (maybe 3/4 inch ones?) Anybody have any experience with them ? Im not up for shearing bolts and writing George off lol.
So are they a good idea and if so what size should i get ?

legally the tyre tread should not be visible when looked from above, so the wheels cant really protrude much......... Think thats what the law was...
I used to have 1" spacers on one of my older mini's and was forever being told they would kill my wheels bearings, But in the two years I had the car, No noticable damage was done...
Hopefully someone else will have more info

I've had thin 5mm? spacers fitted to the rear of my Mini for years, so I won't have any problems with the 165/60x12 tyres fouling anything (many don't bother and haven't had any problems anyway). But I don't think spacers on the front are such a great idea though? These are the ones I believe I have and they did come with longer wheel studs. Although Mini Spares sell similar type 5mm wheel spacers and claim longer wheel studs aren't required. Any longer and I'd say you'd need them though: - www.minisport.com/acatalog/info_MSLMS0511.html

i have a photo but dont know how to upload it , photobucket is being childish. i think the rules stand as either 1 inch or actual tread protruding is frowned upon and i know its points and coin for it so ill be careful lol

Its any tread showing, including the section right next to the sidewall on the lip. I know of a few people in corsas etc who have been caught...
