Some people just have such a childish mentality ... even if it was an accident have to balls to own up to it Hope it comes out ok dude spot on! some t--t dinked the wolseley at brighton, it took another classic owner to leave me a note on the windscreen of there details, i contacted to cops to report a hit and run, tho there wasent any damage, im still waiting, and the guy who left the note with his mobile number spoke to the cops aswell, they just dont care! sorry for you mate, simular thing happend to my sister the day she bought her brand new KA parked it out side work to keep an eye on it then some idiot went into the side of it, massive scuff all the way down the one side, she ran after him screaming and shouting. she phoned the poice straight away with his reg number and the police said thay cant do any thing as the was no other witnesses and she could have gave them any ones reg number

yep, some idiot in a transit van reversed into my montego, (dont start! lol) rang the police and they said only 1 witnesses, tough crap! the guy lived alone, so i knocked his door a 2am with a baseball bat, stoved all his windows in on the transit van! made my day! when the same cop visited me i asked any other witnesses! they dropped the case!

seems the only way you can get taken seriously is to get a photo of it actually happening...
chances of that... 1million to 1...
police = joke insurance = joke road tax = joke
I look forward to the outbreaks of anarchy... and I hope they happen in my lifetime... lol.

I'm surprised about the Police, because a decade or more ago a mate at my old Mini Club had someone drive into the back of his newish Mini Cooper at some traffic lights. The driver of that car gestured to pull over after the lights, but he then just shot past and sped off. My mate took his number though and then drove to the nearest Police Station to report the incident. The Police there traced the drivers details and rang him on his mobile (apparently as he was a posh git having a mobile back then) and ordered him to come pay a visit to the Police Station. Well that bloke couldn't have apologised more and insurance details were then exchanged. So what has gone wrong since then? Has the Police had enough of motoring hit and runs? Their certainly quick enough to jump all over you if you speed or fail to display a valid tax disk.
