After seeing a very good Rover Mini in Bridgend being put in for Scrappage, I decided to take action and set up a petition on the 10 Downing Street web site, I know there are supposed to be petitions on Face book, etc, but this is direct to the Government. As it has been accepted I believe this makes it the only one petition asking for this action on the number 10 web site. If it receives more than 500 signatures I believe it has to be looked at fully and maybe we will get something done. It simple asks for a change in Policy that Classic Cars (i.e. Mini) are removed from the Scrappage payment scheme hence have a chance to survive. petitions.number10.gov.uk/Mini-scrappage/Please sign and pass onto any other Classic Clubs you are a member of. Mark P.S. I think you give an email and address when you sign and then get an email to confirm signing. |

Cheers for the support so far, hope to get the ball rolling by emailing Mini Mag, Mini World, Classic Car, etc, etc. I have posted on TMF but had some negative responces  If anyone frequents other Mini forums could they put a link up for us. I'm only a member of here and TMF Mark |

I'm only a member of here and TMF Mark TMF is a waste of time these days and the BINI community there seem to run the place these days as their obviously supporting that forum through their TMF+ account money. So I'd stay well clear and thanks to some of the muppets who hang out there, it's also in great danger of disappearing up it's own backside just like Minifinity did. |

and if you notice, everybody stays within there own groups within the club, not much of a club then is it?

Very little from TMF which is sad, asked if they would make it a 'sticky post' so it doesn't get lost but no reply.
Had a reply off Mini World they have signed up and putting a small piece in the next mag. Just waiting hear from Mini Mag, Retro Classics, Classic Cars, Practical Classics and Classic Car Weekly.
Watch this space really

ive never been a fan of tmf, tho i am a member, its too big and un personal, the binis do my napper in, and if you notice, everybody stays within there own groups within the club, not much of a club then is it? No and I've heard there's loads of cliquey little groups of people who hang out there. Either way if you don't have a plus account, you don't really fit in there anymore, nor have a voice either.  |

I seem to have really upset some on TMF because I asked for it to be pinned via administration which fare play they have and some are saying "why is his being pinned and not mine"  . Really surprises me as I rarely used TMF only for classifieds |
