We will be selling one of the minis soon, but which one do we keep? Corina's is a cooper, brilliant runner, solid underneath but needs some bodywork and is more expensive to run. It will continue to rise in value though. Mine is slow, but reliable, has had £1000's spent on it by the last owner over the last 2 years and just needs some bodywork. It wouldn't devalue if I wanted to do some mods to it. Obviously Corina's is worth more but not selling for the money, just for practicality Which one would you keep? and why ?

Wish we didnt have to mate, but need something more suitable for longer driving and a bit more space Plus both are going to need bodywork sorting soon and couldnt afford to give them both the love they need

Apart from not selling either, naturally I'm biased and would keep the Mainstream Cooper because it's the same model as mine.
Plus their very reliable cars and easily modified and you could still customise it to your own taste and yet not do anything too drastic that can't be put back to standard again.

I know But have to think longer term, the cooper is too original to let it go I would keep both if we could, but doesnt look like its going to happen, First time in years we get two reliable cars and one has to go lol

just to stir things up......
I prefer yours Phil... (sorry Corina..) Has more Personality than a gleaming cooper.... Also, the cooper has been eyed up in the past by the local yobos, so could lead to further problems...

Thats what i'm thinking too The cooper is brilliant to drive, but It is a cooper and wouldnt want to change it, mine on the other hand is a battered city that can have as many stickers as I want. Rusty bits do not matter, it is reliable ( but slow before anyone else says it ) i want them both lol
