I have found a manifold on ebay and dont now if it is the correct one- the person selling it says that the casting number is 12G299. It has its studs and it also has its register rings to align it when fitted to a 12G940 head. It has no cracks. dose someone now if this is the correct one to fit my twin carbs?

Judging by the pic and code i would say it is the wrong type, sadly.

HELP!!!

I have found another manifold for sle but am not sure if it is the correct one to suit my twin carbs The item discription is Cast alloy type. This intake manifold for twin SU's (H2, HS2 or H4 not HS4) Was brought brand new for 45.00 and never used as it didn't fit the twin HS4's I brought. Some further machining was professionally carried out to ensure maximum airflow. The bottom flange was also cut to allow easy removal of manifold. (as shown in pic) I have asked for the code of the manifold and am just waiting for a reply.

Looks to be about right going by the pics. It is probably an aftermarket inlet though, but shouldn't pose a problem.
