Anyone else having to wait ages for a page to load ? all other websites are fine Nothing on the server to suggest a problem

Surprisingly not! It seems fine for me.. normally my lappy is really slow, but its ok tonite (praps the kids arent using the internet - but if they're not its a first! )

I havnt been able to get on here at all today It signs me in then freezes, have had to borrow daughters laptop just to get on here now. ALL other websites are fine, any idea's? I've deleted temp files, cookies and just finished a system restore but still the same

our internet has gone down twice today + we have lost all phone lines etc but that down to crap tiscalli or rather now talk talk crap grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

think it an area prob mate, rang their hotline to have a recorded message telling us there a prob + they working on it ( basically tuff luck )

I've found the forum to run slightly slow these past few days and pages don't load up fast. But it hasn't been too bad and it seems to be working fine now.
Have you tried de-fragging you're PC Phil?

The problem was obviously with my laptop as it has now packed in completly Anyone know if I put the hardrive into another laptop would it work? I have loads of importnant pics and show info on there

what operating system is it running?...if its xp and you have a disk it can be reinstalled over your current one....xp wont migrate computers otherwise...
if its any other operating system...im not too sure but bet someone on here will (lawson?)

;D Its vista lol, home premium. Not bothered about getting the laptop fixed, I'm going back to a desk and proper pc but if I could retrieve some of the contents would save a lot of time

there used to be an adapter...pop the hard drive onto it and plug it inot a spare ribbon inside your desktop...not too sure if they are still around...hang on i`ll go look
