Ok then, im to kick this up the arse now. Back with a vengance just got myself a complete 998, and a few extras will be introduced. For example, I am not going for a MG Metro cam now, I am going for either a Kent276 or Morspeed ph3, still keeping the 1275 head, but the head will also be around the stage3-4 area. Not looking for BIG bhp, all I am after is an aggressive idealing engine, so a high comp ratio will be done, something like 11:1... Anyways, more when the engine is here

Yeah, i think i do. Dog had to shelve his plans for rebuilding his 998 due to some problems along the way. Minimags Keith Calver did one of these engines and the build is in Minimag. Can't remember the exact dates though, probably 6 or 7 years ago.

yeah it was one of clavers articles that i followed to build mine.
was also reprinted in one of the "Keeping you mini alive" mags
the spec of my engine is pretty much the same as dogs was going to be, I'm very happy with it and it out performs allot of 1275's which is always good. if any one wants any advice etc on the 12g940 head onto 998 block conversion I'm more than happy to help
