OK, I may be completely wrong here and barking up the wrong tree but you know that spindly rod thingy that you drop into the hole in the engine under the dizzy which has an offset slot in the top and a splined gear toothed bit in the bottom?
Take it out, turn it through 180* so that the offset is the opposite way round and then refit the dizzy and try to start the engine.
I have known that to be the problem before and it causes your timing to be 180* out.
Shot in the dark I know but worth a try
Good luck

Bummer!!!!! Have you tried just slackening the clamp on the dizzy and turning it 10* to the left or right in increments while trying to start the engine each time? jc

Boycie, if that last suggestion still doesnt work try the 180* option again followed by the 10* steps option once more.

have you checked the plug leads are in the right order working from the fan back wards 1234 as they are on the block and you should be having a firing order of 1342. also i remember jc having a problem with the little black box on the side of the dizzy. he also had a problem with a cut out switch he put in have you got anything like that?. have you altered the mixture at all?. and the obvious oil in the dsah pot?.

Is the Air Filter fitted.?? And have you got a spark at the plugs.?? I'm thinking that the Dizzy cap is not compatible with the Rotor Arm. Or vice versa.
