Basically, I'd like to do this.
I wouldnt do it myself because i'd take it to a garage but how much would it all cost?
Also, how much could I get an engine for?.

OKay . First of all there is no 1.2 engine available. Well not standard ones anyway. So that leaves you with the 1275 or 1.3 engine. (same) Cost.  ? You could be lucky and find one in the free ads for not a lot of money. The prices on Ebay are unreal at the moment. There is a shortage of 1275 engines at the moment. Might be worth a look in the breakers yards. The only problem with second hand is not knowing the condition of the engine.  |

Even if it was a K-Series, they never made a 1.2...
Only way I can see u getting a 1.2, is by overboring a 1098....
