I've been thinking for the last few weeks, and have finally made up my mind, It will soon be time for me to take a step back from the club to concentrate on other matters . Firstly I would like to say it not due to any hassle, current or past, It just feels the right time to take a step back and spend some more time with the family and concentrate on matters closer to home. I will stay involved in the running of the club for the next few months to see the show season through and the SWM show but come September it will be time to hand over the day to day running of the club. The last 3 years have been fantastic, that includes the good times and bad, I have made more friends than enemies so that has to be a good thing :-) However it has got to the point where I can no longer give up 5 + hours a day online here and answering 50+ emails a day. I will continue to be an active member and will always give my opinion on matters so you wont have got rid of me altogether Hope this isnt taken in a bad light, those who know me will know how passionate I am about the club, It's just time for a break, I thought it better to give notice now rather than just suddntly leave. South Wales Minis has been the biggest club in South Wales the last 2 years, with ALL your help it will continue to be so for years to come

Shame mate, impeccable running of the forum to date and I'm sure it will be that way until you 'retire' Provided you'll still show your face and post once in a while though all is well. Everyone will be sad to see you step down but the important thing is Family comes first

Sad that you're giving up running the club Phil, but I hope you don't leave completely.
Running a club can sometimes seem like a thankless task and people don't realise the amount of effort that's being done in the background.
But I'm sure everyone here appreciated everything you've done as this is a fantastic club and forum.
So take a back seat and a break because you deserve it. But hopefully you'll still enjoy the Mini scene because having to do all the work isn't always much fun.
I don't know if I'm making sense but I don't find routine stuff fun (perhaps it's just me), so once everything is sorted I hope you'll grow to enjoy Mini shows and stuff more.

Right then guys If anyone is interested in joining the other staff members on here to help out with the running of the club / forum just let me know. Will be good to have some fresh idea's and I know there are many of you that care about the club as we do. A final decision on how many new staff members are needed is still to be decided, But we will be looking for at least 2 to work alongside the current team.

Sorry to see you leave phil, I,ve not been a member that long but have absolutely no complaints about how anything is done. It would be a shame to loose all you'r experience but as others have said you have to put family first it's only right. Let's all of us (the SWM club) ensure we all do our utmost to attend our show and make it
1. A HUGE sucess 2.A tribute to Phil the man who made it possible.
I might have got the numbers in the wrong positions.

Only just seen this, sad times, but stepping back is better than stepping away as that would be tragic. I think it was the look and the way the forum was run that attracted me the most.
I always feel family is first and good on you for that. A recharge and refocus is always good.

Sorry for the delay in replying, only just got my head through the door to answer ;D Thanks for all the kind words guys, it's really appreciated but I have to give most of the credit to all the other staff members for putting up with my weird ways and also putting in just as much effort as my self over the last 3 years I am sure with the changes coming up the club will continue to grow just as successfully as it has and will be in safe hands

Right guys, As the club now has a great staff team put together I have taken the decision to step down as a staff member as of today. I will continue with the show planning and I am more than happy to finish the organizing of Bristol Mini Day and Castle combe, However all other day to day matters regarding the club should be directed to the Staff members. Ju Gar1380 Ljonez Coedy I will still be around for the next few months, and would like to thank you all for your support over the last 3 years,
