Bloody fantastic and lets hope we see more of it soon.

what was up with the whole first 10mins... I was sitting there like this: was like something off bloody ceebeebees (or however you spell it). Also, he said he doesn't like Bacon... I call shenanigans.. everyone likes bacon... The Kissagram Girl seems alright though And once it stopped trying to be slapstick it got pretty good. Ill keep watching for now. He wasn't as bad as I expected him to be... But that first 10minutes was almost unforgivable...

I didn't have high hopes and I was actually dreading it now Tennant has gone. But thanks to that Mini appearing and lots of other great stuff like the aliens flashback vision of all the previous 10 Doctors from 1963 onwards cheered me up no end. As for the beginning, well when he was hanging from the Tardis doors and flying over Big Ben (and watching out for his family jewels), I did say that it was a bit like Harry Potter. My son then said 'yes but he hasn't got a little ginger friend' (no offence to anyone with ginger hair). So I replied 'he soon will when she turns up'.

Well he's also the new producer and he has written some of the best stories during the Russel T Davies era, such as 'Blink' the scary one with those stone statues (Weeping Angels).
Oh and their back this year too.

Did anyone catch Dr Who Confidential on BBC3 after the story ended? Story writer Mark Gatiss (of 'League Of Gentlemen' fame) said the new style colourful Daleks reminded him of the ones that appeared in the 2 1960's Dr Who & the Daleks films that starred the late Peter Cushing. He also said how much he loved those films as the Daleks were big bloody colourful things that reminded him of Minis and he felt like he wanted to jump in and drive them. ;D
