Nope. The paint is self levelling and it is thinned 20 / 30%.

i got mine from avenue coatings, ( www.avenue-group.co.uk/coating1.htm ) they will mix the colour you want if you provide a colour code. i got a 2.5 ltr tin which is enough for 2 maybe 3 minis

i know they have all the rover colour codes/charts but mixing from a chart im not sure, best to phone them. the bloke i spoke to was very very helpfull and said its becoming popular he even asked for me to send pics when its done.
cant remeber what it cost me in total for the paint ( 2.5 ltr flame red + 2.5ltr midnight blue + 750ml of dimond white ) but i know it wernt that expensive, i seem to remeber it was somthing like £15 more per 2.5ltr tin for a mixed colour

i know they can add metal flake so that it becomes a metalic paint but with that it has to be sprayed and laquered. i was tempted by one of the standard colours which was JCB yellow!

funny you should ask i took some pics earlier today. the roof is practicly done now, just beeds flatting and then the final coat, before t-cuting and polishing. the rest of the car has now had 2 coats aswell the arches and boot aint been painted yet as they will be changed for new items shortly

Thats looking good Are you finding it easy to put on? and are you rubbing down between coats? sorry for all the questions, just fancy giving it a go soon. yeah it goes on very well once you figure out how much its to be thined ( i currenly using a ratio of 4:1) and sanding/flatting is relativly easy and can be done after a day but i leave it 2 or 3 just to make sure its properly hardened because of the cold weather. i flat it down every 2 coats as i think 1 coat is abit to thin and you would just take it all back off
