Had a really good day today, nice to meet a few people, although didnt have to much of a chat with anyone, nice to see a few new minis around as at the start of the year it was all the same cars from last year.
I was watching the blue one on track and it was racing with the white one next to it that had a motorbike engine, so went to see what it was running and it was a 1380 with NOS, was so suprised as it was as fast as the white one!!!
i'll sort some pix out shortly now.

That blue looks similar to my old mini that wasn't that old. it was pageant mid blue i think.

You've just struck a chord with me there Minillew. You reminded me that my dad drove a Princess in the 80's that was called '.........Mid Blue'. I'm off to Halfrauds in the morning to see if I can find it thier colour charts. Cheers!

Yep, Great show. Seemed strange not having to pitch the tent. ;D Nice to meet some new faces and the old ones again Twas a shame it started raining as soon as we got there, but it helped with the entertainment on the track with a lot of cars going grass cutting.

Me and my family had a smashing time too and for the first time ever we decided to walk around the whole of the track. It was great meeting a few of you and seeing Dai again, but I hope I didn't go waffling about Minis and stuff too much. I took loads of pictures but it's going to take days to sort through and upload them, but I posted these on the International Mini Models Collectors' Club forum, which me and Dai are a member of and I thought you might find them of interest too?: - Dai on the far left and Me & Dominic on the far right. Plus Babybek serving behind the counter during the duration of the photo-shoot!: - Here's a stranger trying to get in on the act?: -
