I reckon you're right Byron. I've put the battery on charge as it wouldn't start again tonight when I wanted to put it in the garage. I thought that was a bit strange given that I'd driven all the way back from Pembrey. I thought that would charge it enough.....I'll let you know what happens  |

it should have charged it enough by the time you drove home unless perhaps alternator fault where you said they messed around with your car ( check the belt ) or maybe your battery on the way out as soon as cold weather comes it will show any dud batteries up straight away, used to work in motor factor warehouse in taffswell + you could guarantee soon as weather went cold we would have hundreds of dud batteries returned. could be a cell down in the battery. check to see if any of the cells bubbling when it chargeing as sometimes a visable fault but might be worth haveing battery checked at a motor factors incase

Hi Everyone !! Just managed to get onto the forum ,should be working but Im calling it break time !!Me and Tootle did get home safely thanks. A huge thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome yesterday . It was such a good day ,cant wait for the next one ! cant believe I felt so nervous about going on a run for so long cos everyone is lovely !! Corina , your coffee kept me alive yesterday .thankyou !! Thanks to everyone who let me raid their picnics all day too!! Going to stop now cos this sounding like an acceptance speech ! LOL !! Oh one last thing the photos are fantastic !!!!

On the matt black one are the vents to cools the engine?
anyway I now really want to get my mini ready for Malvern...see you ther Katie (sis)!
oh yeah will there be battenberg etc cos cakes are a bonus!

Yep....the vent helps with cooling the engine cause I lost a fan due to the flip front, its also to heat me up when the engine is running, theres a lovely warm breeze that comes from it...lol.... julie |

You only loose the auxillary fan, not the one attached to the radiator, i think you can probably put another one on there but I prefer the vents...lol...
