Hi guys

Cooling fan is coming on too much on my girlfriends 1997 Cooper.

I have bought the replacement fan lead, how do I fit it? Is it just simply a case of cutting the old one, joining the wires and insulating?

Any tips most appreciated:)

I have a 1990 Rover Cooper that has an under wing electric rad fan that used to be operated by a thermostat in the coolant system.

I modified it to having a switch on the dash so that I could switch the fan on/off when I thought it was needed.
I much prefer having control of it in that way
