I've put the HIF back on but using the yellow inlet, but dont think the problems sorted.. Will have to take it to a garage have them to sort it

Not much of an update, but I put the sound deadening stuff back on the bulkhead.. Fitted my speakers nice and stealthily behind the dash facing the floor, and put the tweeters on the top dash rail.. Actually gives quite a good sound.. Ordered some 6x9's for the rear shelf.. sounds a bit weird with just sound from the front.. also awaiting delivery of a new air filter, and some blue paint for my head..
Exhaust has been dropped, manifold is off and all studs removed ready for new studs to go back in.. will use some gasket sealant on the gasket this time, not taking any chances! Now Im working in a garage I actually have more enthusiasm when I come in to crack on with the Mini.. Realistically looking at an MOT the end of the week..

While in work I popped into autotrade and picked up some gasket sealant.. come home, studs and nuts waiting.. Literally taken minutes to get it all on properly.. (surprising how much easier it is with the manifold completely off  ) All back on just need some petrol now  Should see MOT later this week |

atm though its technically not lowered But I got HiLo's on order ready to drop it another inch.. But caus Minis are pretty low people wont know any different unless Lawson keeps pointing it out too people haha |

Well last night I didnt really see me living with the impracticalities of it.. specially those doors.. But Andy drove it in for its MOT today.. the amount of looks/smiles/questions it got really did cheer me up.. It failed on 4 bulbs (need changing) emissions.. and 2 front wheel bearings (may be able to adjust) Carb needs tuning too

the yellow doors wont go back on.. need to put the blue ones on tried fitting one tonight but just ended up damaging paint on the a panel.. so fed up once again.. one door needs some filler work.. and they both need to be sprayed yellow so Im not driving around with blue doors.. so doubt it will be re tested anytime soon

Gave one of my yellow hinges to autoparts for a colour match.. and seeing if my mates got a drivers side door I can buy.. but both will need spraying..
