Yesterday I was driving along and I heard like a rubbing noise under the bonnet? Its really loud when I put the clutch in and when I break. Sound like a steam train plodding along. Dad is going to have a look later. Any info on what it might be?

Does it get faster and slower with the speed? does it seem to shut up a bit when turning slightly? Could be a wheel bearing/loose castle nut. Im only suggesting that as thats whats up with mine at the moment.. lol.

Good shout adam. Or it could also be the alternator bearings. those were playing up with me a while back. Blast of WD40 into the alternator and its fine!

just took it to minibits and he said there could be a stone trapped in there, or it could be wheel bearing on its way
