lj has a very good point there. and you shouldnt need the lecky fan to be on all the time just to get "normal" running temp. I would keep that as a reserve just for heavy traffic on very hot sunny days!!!

If you look at the "curve" of my metal fan blades then at the slight "curve" of your plastic fan blades they seem to be "curved" in opposite directions. I know my fan is fitted right as I had no overheating problems and I never had to use the lecky fan! You could always fit a 6 blade metal fan blade like mine phil

Your fan is the wrong way around, jacks is fine. If you take the fan off you will see the center section has a dished side and a flat side. The flat side faces the rad ( pretty sure it has rad side written on it).
You will then need to wire the other fan to suck air through the rad although you should not really need it at all

Just dug out my old plastic fan and the "bevelled" side has "ENGINE SIDE" moulded into the plastic surface at the centre along with the part number (12G1305) and "MOWOG 1" The other side ( falt side ?) is smooth-ish with no writing whatsoever. From the pic of your fan you have the "Engine Side" of the fan facing the Rad. Hope that helps Phil
