OK guys this may prove useful as I have been having aggro trying to get the right belt to fit a 97 MPI Mini
the part listed in some motor factors catalogues is wrong as the belt supplied will be 60mm too short
the distance around the crank pulley/water pump/alternator is 920mm and that is with the tensioner wound all the way off
FAI Auto Parts part number 5PK0925 should fit and can be cross referenced with other brands
Rovers Unipart reference number is GMV50925
the other belt nearest 920mm is again an FAI brand 5PK0918 that is 2mm short to get over the Alternator pulley outer edge ok you may be able to stretch it over the lip but you may damage the grooved belt by doing this
