Hi all, Picked up my new mini yesterday from chester, quite happy with how the car looks, rear valance needs replacing and the inner arches also need replacing but other thaqn than a good clean car.
It's fair to say there was a nice swimming pool in the car by the time I got home from all the rain, so stripped the interior within half hour of getting the car home, cleaned all the water and put her in my garage.
Made a list ofa few thigs I needed to get for a quick service, ended up spending nearly £90.
So, so far I have:-
bought and fitted clear front and side reapeaters,
smoked both them and rear clusters and fog light,
fitted 1 bullet mirror,
fitted diffrent gear knob and hand brake cover,
changed the steering wheel,
and exhaust.
now looking for a set of cheap and cheerful 5x12 alloys of anysort just to get abit of grip as there isnt any with what i got at the mo.

yes and no, the arches are alot worse than I thought and the edges of the rear valance have corroded and the windscreen leakes, but the body and underneath are mint. Plus he gave me £200 off.
So am quite happy, just have to sort the arches out now.

ye sorry bout the no pix yet, photobucket doesnt like me and crashes my computer everytime I go on there.
So am searching for a diffrent image sharing website, does anyone know of one???
Anyway, I have decided I am not happy for this mini to be my next big custom project so am goin to fit a kit, some 6x12s, and retrim the interior and fit some bucket seats, then use the car for about 6months or until the end of the show season and then sell it and find the right mini.
have now retrimmed all the door cards and will be starting on the rear seats 2nite.
am looking for a cheap set of 6x12 alloys, cheap kit and cheap set of bucket seats.

also fitted k&n type air filter, havent fitted the exhaust yet though, so once that is fitted the car should sound quite nice.
