well since the last post, i have retrimmed the doorcards AGAIN!!!! fitted an lcb manifold and straight through exhaust (its loud as hell!!!!!!!!lol), fitted my rollcage and fire extinguisher!, put the cobra classic bucket seats in and fitted all black carpet.
will get some photos shortly.

sorry aint posted for a while, was having trouble with my cpu.
At the moment I am in the process of making a fiberglass install, this time with 2 12" subs and the amp in the centre, it is going to be on the bottom of the back seats and I will be keeping the back of the rear seats in place, but retrimming them.
still searching for the rear arches, I'm going to start fitting my kit soon.
paint wise, i'm either goin for a black roof and maybe some airbrushing, or satin silver and satin black roof or black from the door line up. hmmm.......decisions decisions
will post pix up of the install later or in the morning.

hi all, change of plans again with the paint, ever since I was small I have loved the transformers, and the new movie which is due out in a couple of weeks (which I have seen, thanx to a friend!!!) has made me realise I have always wanted my own transformer, lol.
So the plan now is to have a transformer sign airbrushed on the roof, and 2 small ones on the bottom corner of each door, I'm still thinking of what colour to do the car but its going to stay silver, but maybe all satin silver.

right, well I have now fiberglassed the install and have ordered the rear arch repair panels, so they should be here by wed, then i can order a welder and should be working on them by the weekend, will prob have fininshed the install 2nite too.

car has now been welded so am gonna sort everything that needs sorting for MOT this week then i'm goin to get cracking with fitting the kit and have made a diffrent install for the car. will take some pix when I get a chance.

Finally, the time has come where I can get cracking on my mini, the car went for MOT yesterday and passed with flying colours.
So once i got home I had the bonnet of and mk1 stylied it, then started customing the grille.
Woke up this morning and fitted grille buttins to the grille, then once that was done I pulled the kit out of storage and got started trimming it to fit, the kit is now ready to be fitted, I also trimmed the arches to take my 6x12s.
So tommorow I can start fitting the kit. once the kit is fitted I can book the car in for its respray and finish off the interior.
i'll post the pix up in the morning, i'm going to bed now, knackered after the hard work, lol.

heres a couple of pics, the first is of the grille and mk1 stlye bonnet, also the chrome parts that I have sprayed black which include headlamp surrounds, bullet mirrors, grille, and the winged badge.  the front arches have been cut, I used metal snips instead of a grinder and it came out a much better cut, and I have fitted the front alloys.  |
